Un model probabilístic infereix de l’activitat neuronal l’activitat cerebral

Un article publicat l’11 de novembre a PLOS Computational Biology defineix un criteri probabilístic comú capaç de donar compte dels diferents i complexes esdeveniments dinàmics que coexisteixen en l’activitat espontània de les xarxes neuronals in vivo, que es podria aplicar in vitro a cultius cel·lulars i in silico a models computacionals.

Gustavo Deco to start an ambitious project funded by the US National Institutes of Health

Gustavo Deco, ICREA research professor and director of the CBC, is participating in a project funded by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH). The project “Stroke Neural Networks and Behaviour” within the NIH Grant R01 programme, endowed with a budget of 2.7 million dollars, is coordinated by professor and NIH researcher Maurizio Corbetta and will be carried out in the next five years.
